Running in circles makes us dizzy and accomplishes nothing.

Running in circles makes us dizzy and accomplishes nothing.

Being productive is good—unless we get so busy we lose track of where we’re going.

My puppy gave a faith lesson the other day. She chased her tail, whirling in circles until she tipped over.

Do we also get dizzy trying to do so many things that we don’t accomplish anything, except wearing ourselves out?

Frantic labor reaps little except exhaustion.

Psalm 107 tells about people in difficulty who cried out to the Lord. He brought them out of their distress. “He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed,” (Psalm 107:28).

When we feel agitation taking over, we can direct thoughts to the Loving God who cares for us. He will secure us, even in chaos.

“They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love.” (Psalm 107:30-31)

Rest a moment. Reflect how much God loves you. You don’t need to try and do everything.
